Think you have what it takes to send shivers down readers' spines?

Onyx Cross Comics wants your graphic masterpieces for a Horror Anthology series. If you're not afraid of the dark, then please read and follow the directions below.

This book will be in b + w, at least initially. We want to see your sequential stories of any length, up to 13 pages. Also acceptable are 1 to 2 page prose stories with spot illustrations. The subject matter is anything that falls under the "horror" umbrella: monsters, serial killers, ghosts, ANYTHING! Mixing it up with other genres (sci-fi, mystery, western, etc.) is acceptable, so let your imagination run wild!

We're always looking for new blood to include in SHIVERS. Here's what we need from you:

*A short summary of the story submitted

*3 completed pages of art from the story, if possible. If not, then 3 pages of sequential art from the person drawing your story in the style he/she will be using.

*The complete script for your story

*If your work is completely finished, there is no need for a summary or script.

NOTE: Art samples will be considered from any artists looking to team up with writers, as we have a number of scripts on hand.

*We are also always happy to consider cover art.

*Should you be accepted, it will cost you nothing to be included in the Shivers Anthology; there are no "per page fees" etc.

*Should your submission be chosen for inclusion in the Shivers Anthology, you will receive 10 comp copies of the book, and be given the option to order more copies at print cost. (You retain all rights to your own story/art, and there are no restrictions on use of the material you create or copies that you order...please feel free to order some to sell at conventions, etc.)

*File Specs: all page files should be created to the following specifications for printing; minimum of 600DPI, files preferably in either Photoshop PSD format or Tif. (These are the preferred types, but I can work with other types, so email at the following link for any questions or concerns...info@onyxcross.com.) Feel free to send lower resolution files for the initial submission.

*Live Area: 6" X 9"

*Trim: 6.625" X 10.25"

*Bleed: 6.875" X 10.5"

*Those who have been approved for inclusion in the Shivers Anthology will be given access to an FTP site for easier delivery of their finished work.
